Welcome to SARF
At the Sports Allergy and Respiratory Foundation (SARF), we are committed to empowering athletes and individuals to breathe freely and perform at their best. Our mission is to advance awareness, education, and research on sports-related allergies and airway health.
Millions of athletes around the world experience allergies and respiratory challenges that affect their performance, yet awareness and support remain limited
At SARF, we believe that no athlete should have to choose between their health and their passion. We work tirelessly to ensure that individuals, coaches, and healthcare professionals have the knowledge and resources to manage and prevent sports-related respiratory issues effectively.
Through education, research, and advocacy, SARF is making a difference
About us
The Birth of SARF
SARF was founded out of a life-changing experience. As a young athlete, Mr. Benjamin Jonathan Ngoka was passionate about soccer. However, during a championship game, he witnessed a teammate collapse on the field, struggling to breathe. The diagnosis? Exercise-induced asthma—a condition that can be life-threatening if not managed properly……..
